Projects and boards
Open Projects and create one, from scratch or from a template. Each project can belong to a client, so its hours count towards that client's profitability.
On the board, drag cards between columns. Open a card to add a description, people, a due date, an estimate in hours, comments and files. Changes appear for everyone looking at the board straight away.
My work shows every task assigned to you across projects, with what's due today and what's overdue.
Calendar and timeline
Switch a project between Board, List, Calendar and Timeline at the top right.
- Calendar shows a month of tasks on their due dates. Drag a task to another day to move it; on a phone it's a list of days.
- Timeline is a Gantt chart: each task is a bar from its start date to its due date, grouped by column. Drag a bar to move it, or drag either end to change the start or due date.
Give a task a start date in its details to plan when work begins. The start can't be after the due date.
Recording hours
Start the timer on a task, or add hours by hand. Hours on a task show against its estimate, so you can see when work runs over.
Timesheets
Timesheets shows your week. Check the hours and submit it. While it waits for approval the week is locked. Your manager approves it or sends it back with a note.
Approved hours feed the utilisation and client profitability reports.
